Randstad is hiring on behalf of one of our most prestigious partnering companies. Our Global client is expanding their manufacturing facility in Ottawa and is building a successful team to drive and support their Operation. Want to be part of the team?

We are looking for qualified and experienced Industrial Quality Inspectors to work at our Ottawa plant.

- Maintain Inspection Records per Component, Assembly and Vehicle
- Assist Project Quality Manager with Inspection Plan
- Initiate appropriate Quality improvement actions in support of Project`s Quality objectives
- Inspect components/assemblies to established criteria and specs
- Identify inspection status on components and assemblies
- Initiate Non-conformance Reports for non-compliant product
- Verification of field modification and/or first article inspection requirements
- Perform Supplier Source Inspection when required

• High school Diploma a must, 2 year Associate Degree a plus
• 4+ years quality inspection experience within medium/heavy manufacturing industry,
• Rail experience an asset
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications
• Microsoft Excel & Word a must
• ERP knowledge an asset
