We are currently looking for Reconciliations Officer to support our banking client in Ottawa for a 6 month contract.

Pay: $18.63/hour
Shifts: Mon to Fri from 7:30am - 5:00pm and client flexible on the shift based on 7.5hr days/37.5hr week.

As a Reconciliations Officer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Required to perform journal entries, using computerized spreadsheets for ad hoc reports as required.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and possess superior accuracy and attention to details
- Process reconciliations through Excel spreadsheets
- Run macros, research different lines of business
- Prepare bank statements and sort debits/ credits
- Performing other duties as required.

- 1-2+ yrs Reconciliation exp. (to ensure that cost was run properly)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- 2 years Advanced Excel
- 2 years experience with oracle database
- 2 years financial accounting experience
- Organized and attention to detail
