RELIABILITY ENGINEER - Oilsands Mining Equipment division of Major Oil and Gas Co.

- Develop & Maintain Annual Mobile Mining and Business Services budgets and forecasts to support Mine Operations, Maintenance (MEM & MSS) and Reliability departments

- Develop and maintain equipment availability and reliability information to support projected assumptions when forecasting for the Budget requirements

- Write scoping study documents consisting of cost analysis, interpretations and justifications for mobile equipment/ components to increase/ maintain asset Reliability and fund future expenditures.

- Operationalize asset strategies using Xeras (LCM) to establish & sustain the budget requirements to support the Mining Business Unit’s long term strategies and objectives.

- Create forecasts of capital and running investments related to the mobile assets, identify risks and mitigating activities, barriers to implementation and provide technical/ commercial recommendations

- Assess/ Audit existing asset strategy effectiveness and provide commercial/ technical recommendations for asset health and integrity

- Create and implement Lifecycle models and methodologies which provide reasoning and support for asset life extension, replacement, and upgrade programs.

- Lead/ Support Reliability Improvement Initiatives

- Work Scope Development for Mobile Mining Equipment Improvements for Maintenance (MEM & MSS) and Operations

- Support Asset Strategy Development & annual review processes for new and existing mobile mining assets

- Write scoping studies for maintenance equipment/tooling and Mine Infrastructure projects and provide technical/ commercial recommendations

- Develop Capital & Sustaining Equipment/ Component expenditure Projects using the Approval for Expenditure (AFE) process

- Manage emissions and fuel reporting for the project's Mobile Mining Fleet and support emission/ fuel reduction program initiatives

- Review and make independent studies, analysis, interpretations and conclusions relating to Mine Operations/ Maintenance work scope projects

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have experience with Asset Strategy Development

- Must have experience with knowing systems of a strategy development for maintaining equipment and optimizing equipment.

- 4+ years of experience in a reliability engineer position.

- P. Eng certification is an asset. Techs will be considered.

- SAP experience is an asset

- Good communication skills

- Experience leading technical meetings is an asset
