Sales/ Pricing Analyst - Vaughan

Our client, a well-established distributor of disposable packaging products located in Vaughan is currently seeking a Sales/ Pricing Analyst.

The candidate will have ownership of the pricing process to support the sales team and meet the company’s objectives.

• Manage and maintain all current customer pricing
• Provide quotes on new items as requested by the sales team
• Work with purchasing dept to ensure all changes to vendor pricing are reflected in selling prices
• Be accountable for monthly pricing updates and notifications to customers
• Be accountable for complete customer pricing process
• Assist in accurately setting up new products in ERP system
• Perform analysis of existing data to identify price/margin erosion or profit opportunities
• Creation of pricing templates and other tools to enable our sales team to effectively and independently price and win opportunities
• Price template and price list maintenance
• Support RFP submissions by providing competitive and accurate pricing & cost models

• Base salary $40-45K

• Several years’ experience in analysis, pricing or estimating
• Degree or Diploma from post-secondary institution focusing on Business, Statistics, Economics or Finance
• Excellent in MS Excel and other MS Office product
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• High level of commitment to exceptional customer service
• Self-motivated team player capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple priorities
• Excellent problem solving
• Able to work under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines – multi-tasking is key
• Excellent problem-solving skills – creativity, innovation, strong analytical ability are essential
