Our client is looking to hire a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst on a contract basis in Toronto, ON

Basic Qualifications:
Network traffic tools, techniques and analysis
Host forensics tools, techniques and analysis
Malware reverse engineering tools, techniques and analysis
IDS & IPS technologies, both signature and behavior based
Windows and Linux / Unix log analysis
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree or equivalent certification and experience
At least two years of Scripting/Coding experience in Python, C or C#, or JavaScript, shell, PowerShell or any scripting language. (developers welcome)

Preferred Skills:
Any: Security+, Network+, CompTIA CSA, CASP,
Any: GCIH, GCFE, GREM, GCFA, CEH, CHFI, CIH, CND
Any: CISSP, GSEC, CFE, ENCE, CISM, OSCP
Knowledge of Regular Expressions, GROK, AWK, SED, Linux and shell Scripting
Experience with SIEM (Security Information Event Management) tools such as ArcSight or Splunk, McAfee
At least one year of experience of Host Forensics, Malware Reverse Engineering, or Network Forensics
