Are you a medical administrative professional looking for new challenges in a corporate environment? Do you have previous experience with disability claims? Interested in disability case administration?

As a Senior Disability Administrator, you'll be responsible for managing non-complex short term disability claims from intake to resolution.

Duties include:
• Following up with plan members, plan sponsor, health care providers, and internal partners
• Gathering and identifying claims assessment information - following up on outstanding information
• Corresponding via email and letters; telephone communication with parties involved
• Reviewing STD claims applications against an established set of criteria
• Analyzing and triaging claims
• Approving, paying, and managing all non-complex STD claims
• Transitioning non-complex claims to complex STD and LTD case manager
• Other duties as required

• At least 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role or previous disability claims experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organization, prioritization and planning abilities
• Very strong written and telephone communication skills
• Intermediate PC skills with MS Word, MS Excel
