Our client, located in Midtown Toronto, is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join their team on a permanent basis!


-Assist in planning and executing IT audits and project audits, including IT reviews of applications, security, systems availability, data integrity, and infrastructure according to the annual Audit Plan and audit methodology.
-Work with the IT team to identify and assess risk associated with the Company’s Information Technology environment.
-Perform audits in compliance with internal auditing standards, best practices, and relevant frameworks such as: COBIT, ISO, NIST
-Conduct IT risk assessments on business and operational processes, procedures, and policies.
-Draft formal audit/review reports concerning audit findings and recommendations, and present the findings to Senior Management during the engagement closing meetings.
-Provide remediation support for internal control deficiencies.
-Maintain audit issues log and perform regular follow-up with responsible individuals to ensure management’s timely completion of the remediation action plans.
-Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the external auditing process.
-Support the Manager, Systems Audit in continuous process improvements, planning and execution of special projects as required.
-Assist operational audit teams to identify data analytics scenarios for audits, and help execute analytical procedures using ACL or other tools.
