Our Client is looking for a Senior PHP Developer to work their Centah Inc. line of business. Centah is a collaborative, web-based work flow management solution that helps clients connect in the home services industry. The Sr PHP developer will be working closely with the Centah team located in Vaughn, Ontario.

This position requires a combination of strong analytical sense and dynamic, creative approach. Required tools are PHP 5, SQL Databases, XML, CSS, JavaScript. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing fintech company where the candidate's development work will make a difference.

Location: Vaughan, ON

Responsibilities

The Sr PHP Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining PHP driven modules while also maintaining security & performance standards
The Sr PHP Developer will analyze the performance of the PHP framework, while also identifying and resolving bottlenecks
Optimize and analyse SQL requests
Development at the client side using tools like JavaScript (jQuery / ExtJS) and CSS
Make wiki contributions for new and enhanced functionality
Reporting to the Team Lead

Requirements

5+ years’ experience with PHP 5
Strong Experience with SQL Databases, XML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with databases like MySQL, etc.
Bachelor’s Degree in CS/Math/Eng preferred
Extensive experience with client side development: CSS, HTML, JS and cross-browser and mobile-web design
Knowledge of a LAMP / LAPP stack
Knowledge of jQuery, Git and CVS would be nice to have
Needs to be an independent self starter
Excellent communication skills
