Exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager located in Mississauga.

Key responsibilities:

● Identify and escalate risks and issues appropriately and drive quick corrective actions.
● Track and manage project issues through to successful resolutions.
● Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including; expectation management, status updates /dashboards, PMO, formal reporting and meetings.
● Assess project health using formal PM and statistical methods / measures.
● Manage and control project change management
● Integration Management, including; documentation, training and organization change management
● Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions.
● Engages in business planning discussions and meetings with departments to understand business priorities and associated IM, risk, and compliance needs in conjunction with the Business Relationship Managers
● Collaborates with Business Relationship Managers on the identification of technology and information enablement opportunities in order to meet business information management needs
● Collaborates with Business Relationship Managers to ensure risk, and compliance considerations are taken into account during project initiation.
● Participates in and advises on the definition and communication of Project Management policies and standards for the organization
● Updates and maintains policies, procedures, and practices for Project Management and leads communication strategies to promote awareness within IT and across the organization; recommends new and revised policies and procedures related to improving Project Management service delivery
● Proactively identifies future technology trends/best practices, challenges and impacts on strategic agenda pertaining to Project Management
Financial Stewardship
● Minimizes costs and seeks methods to increase the group’s service delivery effectiveness and to improve enduser productivity and training.
People Leadership
● Creates a working environment that reflects the IT organization’s desire to have a challenging, motivating, and fun work environment to grow our team with the best people
