We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager IT for our Portfolio management department.

The Senior Project Manager IT is responsible for leading, planning and delivering all aspects of large, highly complex and strategic program and/or a collection of projects (Business or IT) within scope, time, budget and quality commitments according to our client Methodology. The Senior Project Manager IT is also responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners and working with business partners on business benefits realization.

Major Duties
Anticipate problems and difficult situations and take necessary measures to resolve them. Ensure proactive and effective overall program/project communication at various level. Manage ongoing relationship and expectation of the customer and senior management.
Build and effectively manage multidisciplinary teams. Divide the program/project into manageable tasks and establish an effective organizational structure with defined roles and responsibilities
Define the overall program/project scope and objectives with business sponsors. Provide program/project leadership and vision; formalize processes, procedures and quality control; develop and manage the integrated program/project plan, program/project budget, resource plan and program/project dependencies.
Maintain a strong business focus with an understanding of the current and strategic direction of our clients technologies. Manage programs/projects by understanding the business strategies, priorities, and issues. Leverage capabilities to propose appropriate solutions and deliver business value.
Assist the business with project selection, prioritization, business case development and benefits validation/confirmation.
Provide input on direction of the client PM Practice and assist with ongoing development as required. Mentor and coach project managers and project team members. Perform the project manager role if required.
Provide overall program/project reporting (progress, issues, costs, etc.); conduct program/project risk management; ensure investment in programs/projects that deliver the highest value to the customer; effectively manage the delivery of programs/projects.


Your Skills

Experience directly managing project staff.
Strong Leadership, planning & organizational skills
Solid Experience managing projects using Project Management best Practices
Strong Business relationship management and vendor management experience
Strong Interpersonal & People management skills
Telecom/Telephony Experience is an asset
Dynamic/ability to work in a fast paced environment
Experience working with Project management tools e.g MS Project, Clarity or similar tools
Experience working in a virtual environment
Bilingual English and French
Position is in Anjou office (Montreal)

Project where PM would be assigned:

Office 365 – Change Management : multiple streams/projects have been launched to deploy O-365 across the organisation: foundation, e-mail, Azur, Skipe etc.

We need a PM to manage the project related to the Change Management Plan defined by the Change Management Lead accross the organization.
