We are presently recruiting for a Project Manager to work full time with our client, located in the downtown core.

Our client requires an experienced Project Manager to join the team and successfully manage and deliver on various business and IT projects.

Major Responsibilities:
• Responsible and accountable for the successful and efficient execution of the PMLC.
• Develop, monitor and execute project plans (goals, scope, deliverables, timelines, financials and resources) in collaboration with the business and technical teams.
• Take ownership of the overall project and ensure that project deliverables, as planned, are completed on-target.
• Regularly report progress of project, milestones, achievements and budgetary standing in both formal (e.g. Executive Steering Committee) and informal settings
• Work closely with business owner/stakeholders, and Business Analysts to understand business needs, processes and data sources to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to procure equipment and technology. Actively manage all vendor deliverables for the project. Organize RFP and POC phases of projects, if required. Guide project team in developing criteria for and participate in the evaluation of 3rd party vendors and software as well as due diligence exercises.
• Provides team leadership, direction and coaching to employees at a variety of levels. In the role of a change agent, creates an environment that inspires and motivates employees and delivers peak performance and superior results.

Qualification Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree, or post-secondary education in Commerce, Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated project management experience required with CRM, ERP or MDM implementation experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required - ITIL and COBIT certifications strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding and experience with the PMLC and SDLC and significant experience implementing enterprise-wide applications is an asset.
• Previous consulting experience, consisting of facilitation, presentation to senior level audiences, consensus building, conflict resolution and negotiation.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including MS Project.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong relationship building and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple and concurrent expectations and be adaptable to changing priorities.
• Superior customer (member and student) service orientation.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work objectives.
• Demonstrated experience in change management.
