Do you enjoy providing administrative support within financial services? If so, you can be supporting the local department and partnering with a global team in providing both internal and external clients in the administration of financial documents and transactions.

We are currently recruiting for a Service Associates in Halifax.

As a Service Associate, you will work closely with Financial advisors and their clients, to facilitate non-routine transactions, and you will also provide knowledgeable support to their National Account back office business partners.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Sales/Distribution Support
• Preparing material for client review and prospect meetings
• Conducting thorough meeting preparation (researching clients/prospects, preparing briefing notes, etc)
• Acting as a back up to sales and engaging with clients/prospects
• Documenting sales and client service activities
• Maintaining calendars for meetings and travel

Client Services
• Acting a internal point of contact - responding to inquiries and service request
• Coordinating new fund launches, account openings, closings, transitions
• Providing advance notification of large client transactions and to ensure that all service & contractual client requirements are met
• Maintaining records of client reports delivered
• Maintaining legal files and account plans

Other duties as needed

- Excellent communication skills
- Business/financial background (2 years experience) and Banking experience would be an asset.
- Strong customer service skills and experience in call centre
- Strong keyboarding skills
- Able to work in a fast consistent work environment
- Strong problem solving skills
- Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Office, AWD an asset.
- Overtime may be required occasionally
