Our client is currently hiring a Senior Service Delivery Executiuon Specialist for an initial 12 month contract engagement in Calgary starting late October 2018.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the execution of a strategic vendor marketplace and vendor managed services strategy in collaboration with preferred suppliers and company leads.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new strategies and processes to exploit vendor delivered services. This role must understand contractual, commercial and operational working relationships with vendors to ensure effective delivery of committed services.

This role is a specialist position, reporting directly to the transformation program. The Project Manager will be accountable for executing pilots of newly developed processes, working with project and service owners to optimize vendor delivered services and ensure the attainment of stabilization exit criteria as new processes are operationalized

Scope of work
• Support a range of initiatives and relationships varying in scope, complexity and criticality
• Independently and collaboratively deliver assigned initiatives, with guidance and direction from management as necessary.
• Carry out complex work, generally requiring medium to long term focus
• Develop processes and roll-out of enterprise technology vendor management to 1200 employees

Required Skills
• A bachelor's degree in a related field (business, supply chain management, computer science or similar)
• Seven or more years of professional experience in Vendor Management, IT Service Delivery, or Supply Chain Management with an IT focus.
• Proven leadership experience with/or managing global IT vendors.
• Strong base understanding and capability to explore market knowledge, developments and trends related to current offerings and the vendor landscape.
• Capable of identifying and promoting efficient means of monitoring and measuring vendor performance.
• Ability to communicate key messages related to collaboration with vendors and internal teams, driving alignment, delivering value, managing risk, optimizing resources and managing performance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management / multi-tasking skills.
• Demonstrated relationship management skills with experience interacting effectively with a variety of stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service to clients.

Additional Preferred:
• MBA
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) experience desired
• Supporting professional qualifications:
o AOP (Accredited Outsourcing Practitioner)
o VMO (Vendor Management Office) Standard Certification
o SIAM (Service Integration and Management) Certification
o CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT) Certification
o PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
o TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) Certification
o ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Certification
o COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies) Certification
o CRM (Certified Records Management) Certification
o Other certifications related to procurement, supply chain management and contract management
