Shipper Receiver
Edmonton, AB
$17.55/hour

10:00am - 6:30pm, Monday to Friday

If you are looking for an opportunity to work in a large oil field distribution facility with great long term growth opportunities then this might be the job for you! As a Shipper Receiver you will be responsible for operating a forklift as well as using a computer to ship and receive product in a busy distribution center located on Edmonton's North West side. This facility houses multiple different types of products utilized by a large oil field company, and your job will be to help those products get out on time and stay organized!

If you have great attention to detail, are a safe worker and thrive in a diverse environment then you are perfect for this role. This busy team based business is looking for individuals who are ready and willing to learn, grow and are looking for a long term position with a great company!

In this position you will be expected to maintain a safe working environment and will always put safety first when making any decision. If you are successful in this role you have the opportunity to be offered permanent employment at the end of a probationary period which would come with a pay raise, and a great benefit package!

Daily duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Loading and unloading trailers and flat decks using forklifts and Reach Trucks
- Assisting in shipping and receiving duties including computer work
- Picking and packaging orders
- Working in a dynamic and diverse team environment

Qualifications
- Forklift and/or reach truck experience, certification an asset
- Computer skills, SAP experience an asset
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment testing and background checks
- Minimum 1 year distribution experience
- Two supervisory references
