The Contract Specialist is responsible for drafting and, where appropriate, reviewing agreements including contracts, contract amendments, confidentiality, non-disclosure agreements (NDA) and consultant agreements as well as responding to customer request for proposals (RFPs).

· Responsible for generating the Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation, RFP clarifications, and leading all negations and approvals up to award of contract. In addition to RFP’s the Contract Specialist will also utilize Requests for Information (RFI) as required.

· Will have expert knowledge of industry best practices when utilizing standard terms and conditions as well as Master Service Agreements (MSA) to form contracts

· Is required to have expert knowledge of contracting types including Unit Rate, Lump Sum and Target price.

· Ability to demonstrate value added to business clients.

· Works closely with, service and sourcing teams as well as customers, business managers, accounts payable/finance and attorneys.

· Drafting and reviewing/ editing documents such as (but not limited to): contracts, amendments, NDAs, , and customer reorganizations for legal review

· Managing contract databases.


- College degree or Associates degree and 10+ years relevant experience

· Demonstrated experience prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business clients in an extremely fast paced environment.

· Good written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English

· Expert knowledge of: SAP, Ariba Contract Management, Ariba Invoice Pro as well as Microsoft Office

· Works closely with, service and sourcing teams as well as customers, business managers, accounts payable/finance and attorneys.

· Familiarity with KPI’s in MSA’s able to provide useful feedback to internal stakeholders to evaluate KPI’s.
