Do you have previous experience in the Social Media Marketing space, handling campaign development and execution, specifically with Paid Social Media marketing? Are you looking for a new opportunity where you can develop your skills in an industry leading organization? If so, look no further!

We are currently looking for a Social Media Associate Manager to support our client, a leading financial software company, in their Mississauga office. In this role you will work full time hours on an 18 month assignment, and earn a competitive rate of up to $33.50 per hour. As a Social Media Associate Manager you will be responsible to leverage the channel to drive competitive advantage for the business, optimize conversions, improve CPA and drive positive ROI through Social channels. Responsibilities will include:

• Execute on Social strategies, insights generation, measurement and reporting, ensuring the channel plays a lead role in supporting the customer journey and optimizes for the customer journey in recognition of all digital marketing channels.
• Optimize KPI’s to maximize ROI of each marketing dollar spent within weekly budget restraints.
• Understands and is intimately aware of competitive activity across social media, ensures that social campaigns are set-up to deliver competitive advantage.
• Optimize the end-to-end campaign (including targeting segments, creative, remarketing tactics, etc.) on an ongoing basis in real-time with focus on personalization.
• Recommend highly engaging social posts to develop “must follow” feeds in order to grow community & following while further increasing engagement.
• Implement and optimize social campaigns built on solid insights utilizing look-a-like audiences, retargeting, and audience segmentation.
• Manage organic and paid social calendars across multiple internal business units.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: leverage social media listening for audience insight, evaluate and advise on how social could help meet overall company sales goals.
• Effectively communicate digital strategies and rationale for tactical approaches for each campaign.
• Develop listening boards within Synthesio to actively monitor social sentiment and brand mentions, identify and mitigate negative situations, report violation of social and brand terms; leverage feedback to shape social strategy and improve the customer experience.

Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in social media role, implementing and optimizing both paid social campaigns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of social platforms, including Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn, Twitter.
• Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills; advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strategic content creation and excellent writing skills.
• Strong understanding of user-generated content management, content marketing and reputation management.
• Driven to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively with management and peers; exceptional work ethic and high sense of urgency.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills; great attitude and go-getter spirit required.
• Strong passion to work in a dynamic and ever-changing business preferred.
• Working knowledge of attribution platforms.
• Knowledge of testing practices, including A/B, multivariate, etc.
• Knowledge of social media scheduling and analytics software (Synthesio, Adobe Analytics, Facebook Insights, Percolate, Hootsuite, Raven Tools)
