MUST HAVE SKILLS

• 5+ years directly related experience as a Business Systems Analyst/technical systems analyst/Solutions Architecture
• Some Hands on experience in Java Development and SOA/Enterprise Level
• The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional
interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies
• The ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions
• The ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and
articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues
• Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect,
aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information
• The ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to
extend and mature the business architecture
• Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of
the organization, including presentation skills
• Expert level analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations, learn quickly and
synthesize corresponding solutions, options and action plans.
• Excellent negotiation abilities with customers, suppliers, peers and all levels of leadership.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to
influence others and move toward consensus. Strong situational analysis and decision-
making abilities. Ability to think creatively and to drive innovation.
• Ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to delivery teams and
data constraints to the business

KEY ROLE

Participate as the lead solutions architect for Client’s technical proposals and assessments.
Work with other solution architects, SMEs, and consultants to author content for proposals
that address the requirements, instructions and evaluation criteria set forth by customers in
the RFPs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops a solution architecture strategy based on a situational awareness of various
business scenarios, tools, processes and motivations.
• Partners with key business stakeholders to develops future state vision, architectural
roadmap (process and technology)
• Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing and improving business service
capability and end-to-end processes.
• Experience leveraging industry standard methodologies in the areas of Business
Architecture, Business Process Management, Continuous Improvement, Business Process
Outsourcing and Change Management.
• Expertise in a variety of modeling techniques to capture process, business rules,
requirements, information flow, etc. Examples include BPMN process models, use cases,
class diagrams, state diagrams, fishbone diagrams, etc.
• Present and communicate complex problems and recommended solutions to diverse
audiences and executives.
• Experience base-lining and quantifying current state business problems as well as
constructing cost/benefit based solution recommendations.
• Ability to envision future state business services/processes and to construct roadmaps
representing evolution from current to future state
• Assesses current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend
solutions for improvement.
• Serves as a futurist and a consultant as it relates to platform technologies and industry
market trends.
• Engages with selected technology vendors to gain insight into new technologies, services
and solutions.
• Assesses technology industry and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the
enterprise.
