Our client, one of the top banks in Canada, with a huge presence in Vancouver, is hiring a Sr Manager Regulatory Reporting for a one year contract with long term potential.

Responsible for the reporting and analysis required to support Regulatory Reporting processes,
meet regulatory requirements and help manage Risk and Capital adequacy.
Timely reporting to Local regulators, analyzing results and providing business commentaries.
Analysis of proposed Regulatory changes and determining the changes to reporting systems and
processes necessary to meet the new requirements.
This position will also require you to identify trends, provide business analysis, manage assessments, and
lead activities related to the application of new financial systems

Qualifications
7-10 years of experience
Degree in business, finance or related field, plus a professional accounting designation
(CA/CMA/CGA).
Strong Treasury Products knowledge is desirable.
Strong knowledge of the Regulatory banking environment and familiarity with risk management
Experience in dealing with regional and/or global related entities is an asset.
Advanced systems skills Excel, ESSBASE, ACCESS, Database management etc.
