Our client in the Aerospace Industry in Cambridge has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be required to work directly with suppliers to satisfy quality standards and strategy in the manufacture of aerospace and electronic components.

In this role responsibilities would include:
• Problem solving in order to meet the requirements of the customer.
• Problem analysis to proactively identify quality process solutions.
• Provide analysis of data in support of quality and process improvements
• Evaluate supplier procedures for compliance to contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Drive supplier quality continuous improvement through supplier site support
• Enhance supplier quality culture through coaching and technical engagement
• Supply Chain management of Deviations, Non-Conformances, with focus on root cause and corrective action,
• Continuous improvement
• Auditor of process
• Cost improvement analysis

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role
• Experience in the aerospace Industry
• Supplier Quality experience is considered an asset
• Current ASQ CQA or CQE certification is an asset
• RAB auditor accreditation is an asset
• Greenbelt Certified, Trained in Six Sigma / Lean techniques also considered an asset
