Supplier Quality Engineer
On behalf of our client in London, Ontario Randstad Engineering is recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to build on Tier 2 supplier relations. The successful candidate would have approximately 10 Years specific experience in Quality Engineering with background supporting Automotive Manufacturing Facilities.

Supplier Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
•Relationship building with Tier 2 suppliers
•Completion of PPAP’s and performing verification and adjustment to APQP
•Identify, evaluate and support Tier 2 assembly suppliers as needed
•Manage Tier 2 Supplier KPI metrics with performance scorecard to demonstrate continuous compliance to AGC requirements and performance improvement
•Lead and participate on root cause investigation and resolution for Tier 2 assembly issues
•Lead and implement continuous improvement programs with Tier 2 suppliers
•Develop supplier technical capabilities as required to assure product cost and integrity

Supplier Quality Engineer Requirements:
•Certified Quality Engineer OR Certified Quality Auditor or willing to obtain
•Degree in Related Engineering Discipline
•10+ Years’ Experience in Supplier Quality Management or similar positions
•5+ Years’ Experience in Quality Engineering for Automotive Manufacturing Facilities
•Demonstrated effectiveness in supplier problem solving management
•Demonstrated experience with ISO/TS standards and supplier quality auditing
•Demonstrated experience and expertise in automotive APQP principles and procedures
•Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the plant
•Motivated, loyal individual that is confident making business decisions from strategic planning
