Support Software Engineer level 2 – Support Team

We are looking for a Support Engineer level 2 to join our Support Team.

Responsibilities of a Support Engineer:
•Maintain the stability and efficiency of our world class software and live platforms
•Liaise with the Customer and Development teams to resolve important technical issues
•Performing a more in-depth investigation of Support issues
•Investigate slightly more time-consuming Support issues which do not span functionalities and do not span applications
•Investigating alerts raised by the monitoring system
•Deploying fixes to live systems
•Join and participate in conference calls with Customers
•Liaising with the other internal teams to resolve Support issues
•Complete/maintain Knowledge-Base articles
•Investigate technical issues and manage deployment of fixes to live systems

If you are the right Support Engineer for us you will be able to demonstrate:
•Bachelor degree or college degree with minimum 3 years experience in development
•Good competency with Unix Command Line
•Has shown competency in investigating Support issues
•Has shown competency and responsibility in making changes to production
•Has reasonable competency with the Linux \ Unix command line
•Has demonstrated good written and verbal communication with the Customer and internal teams in French and English
•Has been proven to manage workload and workflow independently, escalating timely and appropriately
•Experience in using continuous delivery technologies, tools and methods e.g.Jenkins
•Interest in software development processes and technologies
•Great problem solving skills and out of the box thinking
•Experience working in customer focused projects
