We are looking for a Systems Safety Engineer -Senior - PTC

Summary of tasks:
Conduct risk mitigation examination via systematic approach such as Operating & Support Hazard Analysis
Evaluates activities for hazards or risks and evaluates the adequacy of operational and support procedures used to eliminate, control, or abate identified hazards or risks.
Provide recommended risk reduction alternatives
Participate and support hazard analyses and risk assessments.
Review and update safety hazard log.
Perform Human Factors Analysis to address both execution and monitoring errors.
Identify subsystem risks and determine controls to mitigate such by interfacing with RAMS Engineers and targeted suppliers.
Identifies previously unidentified hazards associated with the design of subsystems including component failure modes.
Identifies hazards resulting from functional relationships between components and equipment comprising each subsystem.
Develop safety test cases and procedures.
Develop PTC Procedural mitigations and verify their implementation.
