Our client in Kitchener/Waterloo is looking to bring in a technical lead/Software Architect to join their team!

Must have experience with the following:
1-2 + years of Software Architecture
1-2 years of Cloud based solution experience (ie: SaaS).
3-5 years of Java & Linux
Modern Architect Principles
Non Functional aspects of Software Design
SOA Experience
Technical Leadership experience

Additional skills would be a strong Asset!
Experience developing high performance, scalable applications
Experience with large volume data storage and analytics
Experience with Web Services
Experience with Microservices
Knowledge of design patterns and frameworks.
Experience designing and implementing continuous integration and delivery concepts and software (Jenkins, Selenium, Maven, JUnit, etc.)

Some Responsibilities for this position include:
*Providing architecture and design leadership.
*Defining the system/ software architecture, while using modern architecture principles
*Define / recommend software infrastructure.
*Prototyping concepts when required
*Design & develop test processes for non-functional capabilities.
*Contribute to the estimating of designs and implementations
*Design and develop software as needed
