Technical Sales Rep – Industrial Chemicals
Ontario - $60,000 - $70,000 plus commissions

Our client offering chemical, mechanical, & analytical solutions is currently looking for a Technical Sales Rep for the Ontario market. The role will support the growth of the business within the defined region and sell primarily into the Industrial sector.

More precisely, your principal responsibilities will be:
• Prospect, cold call and develop new business within the specified region
• Maintain a strong rapport with existing customers while introducing new solutions and increasing sales within these accounts – specifically focusing on the Industrial industry
• Working with purchasing, floor engineering, quality control etc.
• Report and work closely with the Sales Manager
• Set goals and execute strategies to ensure and maximize growth.
• Familiarizing oneself with market conditions, industry and competitor standards
• Attending trade shows and conferences
• Maintaining records on potential clients, sales related activities, appointments, training sessions, monthly calendar, travel expenses, etc.
• Must be able to execute complex sales cycles and work closely with supply chain and other internal teams

• Salary: $60,000 – 70,000 plus commissions

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience selling to the Industrial sector
• University degree required, preferably in Chemisty, or Chemical Engineering
• Must be strong with developing new business with a passion for sales and results
• Ability to network and build strong professional relationships
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and reasoning skills
• Must be able to work autonomously with a proven track record in sales
