Are you a licensed Tool & Die Maker that lives local to Cambridge and the Tri-city area?
We are looking for an enthusiastic Tool & Die Maker to work in an automotive environment performing basic Die maintenance.

In this role you will be:

- setting up equipment and testing to prove tooling output
- reviewing designs and builds to ensure maximum tooling performance/life span
- performing quality control tasks
- ensuring a clean and safe work area
- work with production supervisors to coordinate down time so that production needs can be met
- troubleshooting
- working with other toolmakers, maintenance and shift supervisors
- reading and interpreting blueprints
- Health & Safety
- help out in other areas as needed to meet production demands
- assist in tooling improvements, setting up tooling on a daily basis
- working alongside like minded individuals

- straight shift, 2pm-10pm M-F
- $28.45 hourly

- able to read and interpret blueprints
- live local to Cambridge, Ontario
- provide 2 work related, supervisor references
- willing to help out in other areas as required
- able to troubleshoot and align tooling components together to create functional tooling
- fluent in English
- strong math skills are required
- able to lift up to 30 lbs
- experience using precision measuring tools
- T&D makers license
- able to lift up to 30 lbs
- forklift license is an asset
