Do you have previous experience in the Insurance Industry? Do you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills? If so we have an amazing opportunity for you!

Our client, a global insurance firm, is looking for an Underwriting Clerk to work a 3-month assignment (with the possibility of extension) in their Dartmouth office. If successful, you will work full-time hours from Monday to Friday on shifts between 11 am - 7 pm at a rate of $19.40 per hour.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Underwriting Assistant receives Broker requests through a queue and needs to determine priority
• Provide maximum broker satisfaction when contact is made with brokers focused on commercial
property and casualty accounts
• Process cancellations, lapses of renewal policies, re-rating of policies
• Analyze relevant reports to assess risk and claims exposure

Qualifications
• 1 year insurance experience

• Ability to think strategically and make effective decisions
