Are you a welder who prides themselves on their punctuality and attention to detail?

We have an opening for a junior welder or welder-fitter for our centrally located client in Cambridge. This is a contract position for at least 2 months on afternoons, and but has strong possibility for extension for the right candidate on to the day shift.

Job Duties
- MIG Welding - song jig, some freehand
- setting up pieces into a frame using blue prints
- welding support pieces
- working in a team environment
- occasional lifting of metal pieces to a maximum weight of 35 lbs

- $17/hour to start + $1 afternoon shift premium
- afternoon Shift hours: Monday to Thursday 4:30pm-3am (work 40 hours, paid for 42 hours a week)
- paid lunch and a 4 day work week!
- centrally located on a bus route for the day shift
- excellent opportunity for a temporary placement to turn into a full time career

- has a minimum of 6 months of MIG welding experience
- have your own welding helmet and gear as well as a tape measure at least 25' in length
- mechanically inclined
- capable of reading and interpreting blue prints
- reliable transportation is required for the afternoon shift
