Key responsibilities of all the roles will include:
- Offer strategic guidance and sourcing over multiple categories.
- Management of an existing supplier base, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships and added value for the organisation and its customers
- Influence and support key stakeholders to improve procurement practices and compliance across the business.
- Recognise and oversee commercial, contractual, operational, financial, ethical, and supply chain risks as necessary.
- Post award contracts management, including partnering with project staff to achieve outcomes
- Develops negotiation strategies and leads commercial negotiations
- Assisting to formulate forward-thinking strategies such as supplier consolidation and category management plans
Successful applicants will require:
- 5+ years experience in category management including stakeholder engagement, contract negotiation, contract management and dispute resolution.
- Experience leading procurement processes through effective management and / or facilitation to achieve desired outcomes at lowest overall cost and best value for money.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present to stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications desirable
