Pozíció leírása / Job descriptionThe Contracting Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in our client's operations, responsible for coordinating, drafting, and executing contracts and agreements in alignment with the Global Contract Center of Excellence strategy and policies. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Law Department to maintain and manage standard contract templates for global use.
- Drafting and reviewing master agreements and amendments using standard templates.
- Facilitating communication with suppliers regarding contract issues and conducting follow-ups as necessary.
- Coordinating with the Law Department on legal terms requiring negotiation.
- Routing agreements and amendments for internal approval.
- Serving as a subject matter expert on contracts for internal stakeholders.
- Creating and maintaining various reports to communicate contract management expectations.
- Utilizing enterprise-wide systems to ensure compliance and apply defined contract standards.
- Developing and implementing a consistent contracting approach and process.
Experience:
- 3 years of professional-level experience in contract management and negotiations.
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc or BA) preferably in business, finance, accounting, legal studies, or a related field.
Skills:
- Business degree level understanding of contract law and compliance.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, decision-making, and project management.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Comfortable with enterprise-wide systems and adept at analyzing and executing business requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to make informed decisions using best judgment.
Desired Skills:
- Ability to analyze complex contracts and business risks.
- Experience in facilitating change and driving process improvements.
- Fluency in English; working knowledge of a secondary language is desirable.
- Experience working in cross-functional and virtual teams is a plus.
