Our client in Mississauga is looking for a Data Entry Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, motivated, and enjoy independent work. All candidates must pass an alphanumeric data entry test with at least 95% accuracy and a typing test of 60 words per minute.
Position: Data Entry Clerk
Employment Type: Contract (approx 5 months)
Location: Mississauga - 5 days on site
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (35 hours per week)
Start Date: June 20th, 2024
Salary: $23 - $25/hr

Responsibilities
- Transferring data from different information sources into database systems using a keyboard and/or scanner
- Typing in data provided directly from various sources
- Verifying data by comparing it to source documents
- Updating existing data
- Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in high-volume data entry
- Ability to process 100 entries per day
- 60 WPM (will be tested)
- 95% alphanumeric accuracy (will be tested)
