Responsibilities
• Ensure that the environment is always safe and secure in our establishment and on our property, for our customers and our
collaborators
• Keep your team informed of all recent local health and safety laws, regulations, standards and procedures (including
fire and building safety instructions)
• Support the growth of your team through regular talent development discussions, ongoing training on
field and support
• Communicate, raise awareness, support and provide training for all unit managers, team members and collaborators
• Detect and reduce health, safety and security risks by applying the risk management process (e.g. risk analysis).

• Build strong internal and external relationships across the country, understanding their needs and their support for your initiatives and
programs
• Always work to improve current processes and procedures, in line with business objectives and risk management
worldwide
• Ensure that all safety systems and equipment are well maintained
• Guarantee the prompt transmission and processing of all incidents using the IRS (Incident Reporting System)
• Maintain an efficient process for reporting and processing insurance claims
Qualifications
• You have at least three years of experience in loss prevention, health and safety, and risk or asset management (or in a similar field).
• You think differently and propose creative solutions.
• You hold a valid provincial security guard license and a level 2 professional first aid certificate (with DEA) and you have received training in the Wicklander-Zulawski method and CPR (strongly recommended, but not essential).
• You know how to use access control, video surveillance and alarm systems.
• You pay great attention to detail, are incredibly approachable and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• You maintain your composure under pressure and can respond quickly and confidently in a crisis.
• You handle sensitive and confidential investigations with extreme professionalism and integrity.
• You have no problem working in a fast-paced (and sometimes stressful) environment.
• Your reliability and knowledge make you a resource person for our employees who need training and support on health and safety issues.
• You have a solid knowledge of local and federal laws and legal procedures.
