you will need:
- To hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- To have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one through Randstad)
- Previous experience teaching Early Years or Key Stage 1
- To hold a proactive attitude and a passion for education
- Ability to connect effectively with young learners
as a reception teacher, your role will include:
- Delivering engaging and creative lessons
- Fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Being able to use your own initiative in the classroom
- Using a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of all students
- Effectively manage and engage a classroom
- Communicating with teaching assistants and support staff to support the classroom
