For a well-known multinational company, active in the raw materials trading sector, we are looking for a General Ledger/Cost Controller with excellent knowledge of the English language.
Responsibilities:
GL controller
- Provide leadership in the accounting, controls, compliance and reporting

e and Accounting policies and procedures relating to general ledger accounting
- Review and control responsibilities associated with GL account lifecycle, including challenging appropriateness of accounts requested, executing proactive preventative controls against account proliferation, inappropriate usage
- Assist with the annual financial audit special audits performed by internal and external auditors
Cost Controller
- Create Cost Annual Budget, working with all departments, define detailed bottom up resource requirements by account, by cost center, by major activity / contract.
- Develop transparent cost reconciliations for a myriad of comparisons such as budget vs actual
- Generate routine and ad-hoc reporting to management for certain data elements and KPIs.
- Share Improvement plans from all departments, summarize all saving actions and share with Management.
Industry Controller
- Manage monthly reporting by performing variance analysis between budget and actual and identify root causes in case of deviations from budget
- Help local company team in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure determination of industrial cost and transfer price of products
- Reconcile IFRS result with management report result
- Support in the preparation of IFRS packages for Consolidation purposes.
- Support the year end audit procedure in cooperation with the external auditors.
