Requirements:
You will be joining a dynamic Maths department and leading a team of passionate educators.
- Educated to Bachelors degree (or international equivalent) with a teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Minimum two years post qualifying teaching experience
- Experience of teaching IBDP Maths AA or higher-level maths courses in secondary schools including post 16 education.
- Experience with MYP Maths would also be preferred or a background / experience in inquiry based learning with authentic assessment.
- Previous international school experience highly desirable but not essential
- IB curriculum experience is important in this role of leading the department
- Adaptable and engaging with students and staff alike
Package:
- Competitive salary (Dependent upon experience) from £37,000 to £46,000 per year
- Additional annual £4000 stipend for Head of department responsibility
- Relocation allowance of up to £4500
- Home leave of up to £800 towards travel
