Our client is a global leader within the Identity Management and Security space, with many offices spanning across 6 continents. Due to a large recent investment into the Asian region, they are now hiring a number of skilled professionals with the Head of Sales for North Asia being their key priority.

You will be responsible for managing a lean sales team across HK, Taiwan and China, with opportunity to grow in the near future.
about the job.
  • Responsible for all commercial deals and opportunities in the sub region through the local sales team
  • Lead the team to maintain and improve the company’s competitive position through business growth and development.
  • Appraise existing sales performance and coordinate marketing and sales efforts to achieve maximum liaison and full use of resources at all levels.
  • Negotiate and hold the commercial position locally
  • Ensure that capability is marketed and sold in accordance with budgeted objectives to obtain maximum profitability.
  • Participate and provide leadership in the development of new project proposals.
  • Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.
  • Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.
  • Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
  • Establish and implement short and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Ensure that all sales and marketing employees are trained to perform their jobs effectively, and select new staff as required in conjunction with Human Resources.

skills & experiences required.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of people, contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
  • 8+ years of experience in security and/or identity management solutions
  • Considerable knowledge of some of the countries of the coverage area and the ability to become familiar with the remaining countries.
    • Considerable knowledge of people management and how to motivate staff to deliver the best possible performance.
    • Ability to develop strategies for the successful introduction and growth of the broadband service offering and implement these strategies.
    • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
    • Strong communication skills.
