The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for leading and executing payroll and benefits administration, playing a key role in ensuring HR compliance, and spearheading new HR initiatives. Key responsibilities include:•Managing end-to-end payroll processes in Japan and ensuring high-quality customer service, including oversight of payroll and benefits vendors.•Managing the entire employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding.•Proactively identifying areas for operational enhancement and leading or participating in improvement projects to increase the value HR brings to the organization.•Updating, reviewing, and creating HR policies.•Maintaining strong relationships and coordination with employees, HR business partners, Plant HR, Finance, Regional/Global HR, and other stakeholders.•Collaborating closely with Finance and Treasury departments.•Overseeing non-payroll benefit operations.•Managing social insurance-related tasks.•Handling audit-related activities.•Addressing other ad hoc operational needs.•Demonstrating a commitment to contributing positively to the organization's goals.

•Over 5 years of practical experience in managing payroll and benefits administration.
•Possess a robust understanding of payroll/benefits processing, taxation, social insurance, as well as compliance and reporting obligations in Japan.
•Demonstrates a high level of integrity and values employee privacy.
•Exhibits exceptional skills in ensuring data accuracy and effective time management.
•Displays a customer-oriented mindset, prioritizing the needs and satisfaction of clients or employees.
•Japanese: Native level
•English: Business Level is preferred. At least communication skill in writing and reading
