Our client is a significant player of the industrial real estate development market in Hungary. On their behalf we are looking for a CFO with strong background in accounting & project funding.

You will be responsible for the management of a team of 8 people.

- Participating in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
- Develop financial strategies and evaluate tax consequences
- Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
- Monitor legislative or regulatory changes that will impact the business, communicate to Group and offer solutions.
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
- Manage the accounting, human resources, shareholders relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments
- Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
- Develop and maintain relations with national and regional financial authorities. Ensure compliance and in instances of queries or inspections maintain dialogue to protect the company’s interests.
- Report financial results to the board of directors
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
- Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry
- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
- Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
- Arrange for debt financing
- Maintain banking relationships
- Represent the company with investment bankers and investors

Elvárások / Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or Business Administration
- Beside native Hungarian Fluency in English is a must
- Previous working experience as CFO for 5+ years preferably in real estate development/construction industry
- Deep knowledge and experience in project funding
- Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
- Excellent knowledge of corporate financial law
- String time-management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Problem solver and critical thinker mindset
- Experience in strategic planning and execution
