Business Development Executive Role:

The Business Development Executive will employ a consultative, customer centric approach in sourcing new business and creating relationships. Once they have a comprehensive working knowledge of Viatel and its marketplace, they’ll begin to strategically generate leads, identifying and profiling key decision makers of potential customers. The successful candidate will:
  • Call and email senior executives of prospects in order to establish need and build value
  • Explore potential customer relationships in both the public and private sectors
  • Create a pipeline of qualified opportunities, keeping the CRM up to date and accurate
  • Create compelling customer proposals using Viatel’s sales governance and qualification processes
  • Keep up to date with industry developments and market trends in order to detail the transformative impact of Viatel’s offering to your clients
  • Meet agreed revenue and gross margin targets so as to widen Viatel’s client base
