We are on the Looking For a Talented Capital Project Engineer to join an international Pharmaceutical company!!

Office Based In Co. Offally Traveling throughout Ireland

The Capital Project Engineer/Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of pharmaceutical capital projects in Europe

Job Responsibilities:

* Develop project requirements including technical needs and business case scopes
* Develop and manage the Capital Project Appropriation (CPA) requests for multiple projects
* Interpret regulatory, health and safety and company standards
* Develops scope definitions, schedules and budgets.
* Provide technical leadership for major technology efforts in pharmaceutical manufacturing for Active Pharmaceutical (API), Biological Drug Substance and pharmaceutical Drug Product
* Recruit, interview and select staff with appropriate skills for the project activities
* Lead process enhancement initiatives in productivity which feeds capital projects, operational improvements, new product development, and quality targets.
* Work with compliance to create an effective validation plan
* Manage and prepare project schedules, cost estimates and project monthly reports
* Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures
* Prepare program and project reports for executive management, project sponsors, project managers and a range of other interested stakeholders
* Manage Multiple design teams, procurement processes and vendor deliverables
* Manage multiple contract project managers in the execution of various capital projects
* Assure all designs align with global engineering standards


* 7-10 years of engineering and/or operations experience in a pharmaceutical processing manufacturing
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering
* Demonstrated experience with quality systems in a GMP regulated environment (FDA and EMA) as well as capital project management experience
* Project Management Training desirable
* Experience developing and controlling project budgets
* Developing and monitoring complex project schedules
* Ability to travel 25% of working weeks
