Duties & ResponsibilitiesSample receipt and sample management.Laboratory materials restock and organisation.Washing of laboratory glassware.Basic equipment calibration and work order completion.Basic analytical testing.Ordering consumables.Waste management.Maintaining laboratory records.Comply with health and safety regulations.Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Knowledge and AttributesLeaving certificate / FETAC level 6 qualification or better.Excellent computer literacy / skills.Previous experience working in a laboratory environment.Knowledge of SAP is a distinct advantage.Randstad encourage applications from individuals of all ages & backgrounds. Assist with preparation of an end of year report on EHS. SME for the site for EHS activities and main contact for EPA or HSA. Chemical Safety officer for the site. Management of regular EHS meetings and follow up on actions identified.Carry out Risk Assessments for chemicals and general tasks and follow up on actions identified. Work with contractors on site to prepare method statements and provide permits to work. Report and Investigate incidents when they occur and ensure root causes are identified, mitigated and communicated.Ensure statutory forms and inspections are complete and recorded as required.Monitor process waste testing to ensure compliance with our clients EPA requirements. Arrange and carry out routine fire drills and testing of life safety systems.Provide EHS project and documentation support.Assist with the development of SOP's and provide training and communication to site personnel as necessary.Education and Experience Required: Third level EHS qualification. Experience in a GMP environment in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.Good problem-solving and ability to resolve issues quickly ensuring that all EHS compliance requirements are met.Experience working on a site with an EPA license. Experience working with and managing external contractors. Due to a high volume of applications only those progressing to the next stage will be contacted.
