Our client is a multinational company operating in FMCG, Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical sectors.
For the Pharmaceutical Company, we are looking for a
BUSINESS CONTROLLER – Temporary contract (12 months)


- Bachelor degree in Finance/Economic/Accounting with at least 3/5 years relevant finance and experience - Fluent in English. Good Italian language skills is preferred - Skilled at using advanced Microsoft packages: Excel, PowerPoint, Word - Use of SAP/BW would be preferred Personal Skills / Attributes: - Highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and proven leadership skills - Able to build effective relationships and communicate clearly with business partners and colleagues - Work independently in a very dynamic and complex business environment - Result oriented, able to prioritize, accurate also under pressure, pay attention to details without losing the bigger picture. Challenge the status quo - Able to create an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect - Excellent presentation skills The position will be based in Milan. Limited international travel will be required


Reporting into the Finance Director, the candidate main responsibilities are as follows: - Business partner for one of the company Business Units, she/he will take responsibility to support the delivery of the financial targets, both Net Trade Sales and Operating expenses. - Play a leading role in the Business Plan and the Mid Term Plan processes for the area of responsibility. Ensure high level of accuracy in forecasting - Perform ad hoc analysis to enable an effective decision making process, providing meaningful business insights. - Support all closing activities for the areas of responsibility, providing analysis of variances. - Ensure compliance with finance accounting policies and procedures and is accountable for all the SOX requirement within the controlling team. - Constantly connect with the FP&A CoE team on Planning & Reporting activities to create efficiencies, improve collaboration and create value. - Support the business in the resource allocation process. - Manage Compensation planning, including Headcount reporting
