Randstad Italy, Finance & Administration Permanent division di Roma, is looking for an Business Controller Senior Italian and English speaking.

The primary focus of the position is to manage the smooth running of the Finance Department and ensure the Company works in compliance with local country law requirements and international accounting standards, according also with the Global policies and finance guidelines.
The role will encompass planning, reporting and data analysis and results, ensuring the respect of Rome’s annual budget.
The individual will directly manage the Finance team and work closely with the Head Office Finance team as well as the local Operations, Sales and HR team.

Education and Skills required: Knowledge of accounting, finance control, reporting and business analysis Language: English and Italian language are compulsory Good understanding of travel/tourism industry Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and Google Analytics SAP knowledge Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills Demonstrate ability to present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization Economics degree At least 3 years’ experience Finance department, ideally gained within the travel/tourism industry Good knowledge of statistic tools and models Experience in program and time management. Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while paying strict attention to detail Budget management: planning and reporting. responsibilities

Responsibility: Annual Budget: planning and management Suggest/implement changes in business management: manage business improvement processes to increase efficiency, add value & reduce costs Cash-flow management SAP management Ensure compliance with Italian financial regulations, requirements, customs, laws, and international accounting standards Bank transactions, payments and follow ups Provide support to external Accountant for the entire process of monthly VAT return and regular government statistical returns Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports Co-ordinate all financial activities with Head Office Alert Management to under- or over-performance Support to the GM with analysis for an overall strategy/immediate actions to return profitability to acceptable/planned performances Relationship with the Accountant consultant and Labor consultant in order to ensure the Company works in compliance with local country law requirements Ensure transparent communication to/from business divisions & deliver financial objectives Negotiate deals and keep good relation with distribution partners to either increase sales or reduce costs, ultimately leading to business growth Review, evaluate, implement changes to policies/ procedures /processes to benefit the business Manage the general expenditure contracts (i. e.: IT, water and electricity) Manage and motivate the Finance team, ensuring maximum cooperation Ensure to the team correct knowledge of the Finance Global Policies
