Responsibilities
- Driver check-in duties, greeting drivers upon arrival for pick-up and drop-offs
- Verification of shipment documents, BOLs / PODs
- Handle relations with transporters and custom brokerages
- Ensure proper documents are received and sent (invoices and customs papers)
- Support with filing and scanning of documents
- Coordination with dock team and logistics staff to ensure timeline of shipments
- Provide assistance to others who require help
Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in a Distribution and Transport company is preferred in a similar role
- Functional English - Comfortable answering and speaking with carriers;
- Good humor and team player. You'll be the first face of the company!
- Computer skills (Outlook, computer system, scanning) (An asset)
- Experience in administrative/logistical functions (an asset);
- Ability to work under pressure
