Our client, an international manufacturer of high-precision component parts for the automotive and aerospace industries, is currently looking for a Sales Director (F/M) to manage cross-regional sales activities.

Missions:

Under the supervision of the EVP of America & European Operations located in Chicago, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
• Assist the top management in establishing and managing the sales team in European Region
• Participate^in strategic business development to improve new sales opportunities and increase revenue with existing customers
• Identify relevant market segments and trends in the industry and provide direction for the sales team
• Oversee sales growth and prepare forecasts and reports for periodic budgeting purposes and review
• Develop and implement sales policies and procedures to harmonize cross-regional activities
• Lead and build an effective team by providing leadership and coaching
• Participate in product and sales training programs and seminars
• Drive and improve quality of sales service and maintain good relationship with functional departments and affiliates within the Group

Profile:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• More than 10 years’ experience in sales management within multinational environment as a senior level
• Expertise in castings products selling is preferred
• Six sigma certification will be an asset
• Mature^professional, self-motivated, independent, committed and able to lead team members while demonstrating a corporate mindset
• Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills
• Willing to travel within European countries to develop business opportunities and maintain contact to existing clients
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Very good command of written and spoken English, knowledge of French and/or German will be a distinctive advantage
