We are working with our valued client located in the southern suburbs to source long term candidates who are passionate about working for a successful Australian manufacturing company. Are you an experienced maintenance/groundperson? On offer is standard 38hrs Monday-Friday 7am-3pm, plus reasonable additional hours as required. This role may be offered permanent part-time depending on the candidate and operational requirements of the business with immediate start.
Experience that would be beneficial
Prior experience in a similar maintenance role. Alternatively, skills such as the following are transferable;
- Hand and power tool experience
- Experience in basic assembly and welding fabrication
- Relevant Engineering or Tooling Workshop Experience
- Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
- Experience and training in LEAN Manufacturing principles
- Relevant Trade Licence/Background
- Working at Heights (or willingness to obtain)
- Forklift licence and EWP (or willingness to obtain)

coordinating with third-party contractors work and safety, and overseeing various maintenance tasks.
The ideal candidate will be someone who's organised, pays attention to detail, takes pride in their
work, an excellent problem solver, and has strong mechanical aptitude and experience on the tools.
