About the company

This is a large organisation and a leader in its field with a range of property business and development. A prominent Public listed company. They have world class mixed development projects. About the role

This is a newly created support role for the Group CFO. You will be managing a portfolio size of 800 employees, with 8 direct reports. You will be well versed in all aspects of finance and have experience managing in an ever changing agile business.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of policies, strategies and business plans to achieve Company‚Äôs goal and objectives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results which are in compliance with the generally accepted accounting standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaison with auditors, tax agents, lawyers and bankers.
  • Oversee feasibility studies and due diligence on potential investment and development projects, acquisition of new land bank and determining cost effectiveness of respective development projects.
  • Oversee the Credit Control of the company.
  • Plan and negotiate banking facilities and manage the funding efficiently.
  • Responsible for management of all aspects of financial accounting functions inclusive of financial planning, financial reporting, budgetary controls, treasury, funding and forecasting for the Group.
  • Responsible to evaluate project funding and allocate funds efficiently.
  • Review monthly financial performance of the group to monitor operation efficiency and performance.
  • Timely reporting to Board of Directors, Audit Committee and Management on the company financial performance.

Skills & experience

To be successful in this position you must have demonstrated experience and track record of having thrived in a complex organization with multiple business entities. Experience in implementing robust financial and operational controls in a cross-border environment.
