As a Technical Analyst you are responsible for creating and maintaining the Engine power curves according to delivered requirements. Working with the Engine (power curves, heat release, and lifetime) is your passion!

The requirements can be found in existing Excel format, you will be responsible for a new to be created Matlab environment. In this database you will also include all the available Power curves. You will be communicating with stack holders in the Engine and Vehicle Development teams. 

You will also be responsible for calculating normalized Engine Heat Release at predefined load points using simulated and measured data in an existing Excel tool. You will be creating a database with all available Heat Releases. Communicating with stack holders in the vehicle departments.

Besides these responsibilities you will also calculate Engine lifetime using input data of the Sales department and existing ISO curves.

The ideal candidate finished a Masters degree (Automotive / Engineering) with at least 1 year of relevant working experience (no work experience? Feel free to apply as well!). From your studies or work experience you have gained a good understanding of a vehicle Powertrain (Engine-Gearbox-Rear axle-etc.). Having experience with diesel engines is preferred. Extended and experienced knowledge of MatLab is a must, together with good communication skills in the Dutch and English language.
