For a large company in AKL CBD we are looking for multiple Information Specialists, one intermediate and one senior person. You will be part of a high performance team that manages the internal and external digital content. As you can imagine they are in the spotlight because of their responsibilities. This makes them a high performance team with 13 star quality people that are in constant communication with their stakeholders to ensure high quality digital content.

The company

The role

You will be part of a Business Hub, which supports stakeholders in various programs of work using a customer-centric methodology. The role is responsible for the effective creation and management of content and digital solutions across the Governance Division.

As part od this team you will own the software and applications solutions hosted by different teams across the whole board of the company. You will organise and assist with upgrades, testing, issue resolution and development of manuals and training materials.

A big part is also the operational support and providing innovative business improvement advice across the company, ensuring existing systems are used effectively to deliver high quality customer services. A business partnering approach with key teams and organisational functions is required.

Because of the impact of the team on the company and your role in the team it is very important is that you can prove relationship management, risk and issue management expertise, effective communication skills and political acumen.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience in the digital/IS industry writing for the web, managing content and supporting IS applications
  • Experience in content management, media/graphic design, principles of writing web and knowledge-based content
  • Experience in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience in working in a customer-facing environment, assessing customer and business needs and collaborating to achieve objectives
  • Experience supporting business relationships and working with key stakeholders
  • Experience in influencing decision-making
  • Experience in using content or document management systems. Ideally this would include Sharepoint and TRIM
  • Familiar with use of change, release and project management processes
  • Customer mindset

This role would suit someone with a Digital, Communication or Marketing degree, a couple of years working experience within the digital marketing space and exposure in a professional environment mentioned above.
