Our client is currently searching for a talented Payroll Manager to lead their engaged team in Porirua. This well known organisation in Porirua, and leader in their field, is looking for a permanent payroll manager. They are always looking to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their services.

The Role

  • Managing a team who will deliver the end to end payroll process
  • Overseeing the processing of all wages and salary pay runs
  • Managing all remuneration changes accurately and process back pays appropriately
  • Providing payroll tax and legislation advice
  • Providing training & support to key stakeholders
  • Reporting & analysis of the payroll function

The Ideal Candidate

  • At least 3 – 5 years NZ experience in payroll management
  • To be well organised with good time management skills, with the ability to multi task and meet deadlines
  • A strong understanding of NZ Holidays Act and general payroll practices and procedures
  • A high level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail
  • Essential skills include: Chris21, Kronos & Advanced Excel
