Do you enjoy building relationships? Do you enjoy watching your students grow, learn and progress? You will be building invaluable relationships with your students, their parents and your colleagues. You will be responsible for planning informative and fun lessons with a focus on raising the student’s achievements through your teaching of; Maths, English, Social Sciences, Health and Physical Education.

Your new role will be based in the beautiful rural outskirts of Christchurch. Canterbury is well known for it’s grassy plains, clear lakes and snow-capped mountains.

Successful candidate

Ideally you will;

  • Hold a relevant qualification at degree level
  • Have your Teachers Registration
  • Have proven experience working within a primary school
  • Be available for a Term 2 start (29th April)
  • Be a citizen, resident or hold a valid working visa
  • Overseas Teachers welcome to apply as long as you have a valid working visa and your Teachers Registration

In return you will get

  • These positions are paying between $60.000 and $70.000 per annum. Your salary will depend on the results of your salary assessment done through NOVO pay. In addition, you will be joining a highly regarded primary school with a fantastic culture and real opportunity for career progression.
